I refuse to notice the peering eyes watching my every move from the bridge above Waiting to pounce on me to follow the rules laid by them To be part of the realms of complications created by them I just want to do as I please, to follow my heart To break free from the grids surrounding me I want to move on, to be ME To love the simple pleasures which life provides Without a hitch or a call to be restrained To be once again the wide eyed little girl Who wondered at the amazement of the world Exploring, prancing, giggling Creating bubbles of warmth around Loving what life has to offer rather than dreading - what next? Here I am at the shore...
