In the boat of my life

I sail through the meandering streams, the oceans, the
rivers and the seas,
I come across rugged waterfalls and sudden gushes
Which teach me experiences bitter and sweet
I see the lush green around me and try to fathom the very
dust they arise from
There are faces strange and new which beckon me forward; what
should I do and what should I not?
Decisions are taken, some sore some wise.
Into the meandering streams I wander, for there are yet
stories untold…lurking in the bends unknown
Through shallow waters and tides high, I move on
Rocking ahead, sailing ahead into the wide blue seas.
Sometimes I wonder, when the journey would cease
Tired am I of the diverse roles taken, the twists the turns,
the gushes the rushes.
If only someone could take me along…through the bobbing
waves;
To be a part of this journey together… forever…
To experience the highs and the lows, the ups and the downs
In the togetherness of our souls; our beings
In the very essence of our living…
But it is not to be, for destiny has something else in store
for me.
Alone I carry on in the vast wide oceans, lonely, weary and
tired.
Maneuvering the steering, I move on,
I know I have to; I can and I will!
The heart may cry, but that’s for no one to see
With head held high and determination strong
Into the meandering streams I sail on…
Let the flow begin with purity of thoughts and wishes to be a part of your journey
